Do I need a developer?: Not to explore or preview. Shipping a test needs one script tag, once. The panel can email it to whoever deploys your site.
Can it break my live site?: No. A preview only changes the page in your browser, and it disappears when you reload. Nothing reaches a visitor until you press Start test.
What happens to my data?: Pages are summarised in your browser first. Passwords, payment fields, and customer details never leave it. Summaries are kept 90 days and never used to train models.
When is a test finished?: After a full week, enough traffic on both sides, and odds that have settled. The readout says which one you are still waiting on.
